Welcome to the larwe.com coin-op arcade game museum.
This section of larwe.com contains my personal collection of video arcade game information. The games listed here are special to me primarily because I own them. There is information on these pages, including fault information, which you will not find elsewhere, as this is a record of my personal experience. Please use the links on the left-hand side of this page to navigate this area of larwe.com. Unfortunately, I no longer own the games you see documented here. Back in Australia, I had a lot of fun with these machines, but I was unable to bring them with me when I moved to the USA - and I really don't have room in my New York apartment for a machine, anyway. My current plan - which is admittedly rather vague - is to buy a cocktail cabinet with some board I like (hopefully Xevious), set it on freeplay, and install it at work. Of course, this requires some prerequisites, e.g. available money, which I can't see myself having in the near future. But it will someday be fun to start rebuilding my collection. If you are looking for a general information archive on arcade games, your first port of call should be the Video Arcade Preservation Society. My site will never contain the breadth of information you can find at VAPS. However, I do review the games here in far more detail than VAPS does; most of the descriptions on VAPS are two lines of text or less, and for details you have to drill down to one of the SIG pages. |
